Ralph and his wife Terri

Pastor Ralph Acerno has been serving in gospel Christian ministry since 1972.  He was ordained as a pastor in 1985 by the Reformed Church of America.  His areas of ministry include preaching,  bible teaching, evangelism, counseling and composing as well as performing worship music.  Ralph is a graduate of Northeastern Bible with BA in biblical studies, as well as a graduate of New Brunswick and Princeton Seminary with Masters in Divinity.

Currently, Ralph resides in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Las Vegas with his wife Terri Thompson, a professor at Columbia University.  Has also three grown children: Paul, April and Daniel.

​

Ralph is author of various published books.  He's also an accomplished musician and songwriter.  Ralph is a nationally recognized guitar teacher and motivational speaker.  He's also launched two successful infomercial campaigns for his guitar teaching media.

Ralph's hobbies include guitar, writing, sci-fi, vintage comics, classic film and nature.

Statement of Faith

​

Our Cool Church has a simple but crucial statement of faith.  We dislike when Christians fight and argue over secondary issues that cause division and hate.  Our statement is brief but basic.  We consider these six statements essential for all Christians:

​

• Jesus Christ is Lord.  He alone has come to bring us forgiveness from sin and eternal life!

• We are saved from sin and death solely by faith and trust in Jesus and the cross.

• The Bible is God's inspired Word and our ultimate authority in matters of faith and practice.

•  There is One God in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

• The church is composed of all true believers in Christ.  Its mission is to nurture and witness to all.

• Jesus shall return to create a new Heaven and Earth.  He will judge the wicked and reward the righteous.
